Personal motivation |
Why have I decided to become an egg donor? It all started with pregnancy. I didn't expect it. One day I drove home late from work, hungry like a wolf. I took my chance and bought a patty in the first café. I ate this patty with a great appetite. On the halfway home, I felt a growing sickness. I thought I got poisoned. Sickness left after I slept. The next morning I was sick again, and it made me suspect something wrong. I visited a doctor, and the ultrasound check showed that I was pregnant, but in the very beginning. I went home frustrated, and I didn't understand how I should take it, but when I told about it to my husband, he got so happy that I calmed down. I realized that I would become a mother soon. That's where it all started. The first trimester was challenging: there was morning sickness and loss of appetite. I felt sick at the sight of meat. The morning sickness was followed by a strong desire to sleep. And then was the first ultrasound. I was anxious, but when they told me that everything was good, and they were 80% sure that I had a boy, I left the doctor's office totally happy. Time passed swiftly, and my belly was growing week by week. One evening I had a feeling that a little fish swam in my womb. It was the first move that I felt. Day after day the moves got more and more clear, they were followed by visible vigorous kicks. Nothing can replace these feelings. My pregnancy came to an end, I looked like a clumsy penguin, but it was so cute, at least, my husband told me so. Finally, the long-awaited day had come. After 6 hours of contractions and a C-section, I heard the first cry and my happiness was infinite. I gave birth to a big boy of 4200 kg weight and 54 cm tall, and here he is, lying on my chest. I am a mother! Since he joined our family, the live turned upside down. It was difficult at first — sleepless nights and colic — but it lasted only a month. Now I can proudly call myself "mom". He is 5 months at the moment (the profile was filled in May 2022), and I can't get enough of my lovely boy. So, why have I decided to become an egg donor?
